Recently Awarded Projects


Samson Rope Technologies manufactures rope of almost any shape, size, and use. The project is a metal framed building off of Southpark Road (on the way to Broussard off of HWY 90). This project involves a complicated foundation that will house in-beds for manufacturing equipment coming from Germany. Once the foundation is in place, 3 bridge cranes will be the highlight of the interior of the metal building.



The Lemoine Company is beginning work on a new state-of-the-art 40,000-square-foot sports complex in the North End Zone of A.W. Mumford Stadium on the campus of Southern University in Baton Rouge. The expansion will add 2,500 seats to the 26,500-seat stadium. Along with the stadium enclosure, the project will include new training facilities, lockers rooms, offices, a weight room, sports memorabilia spaces, meetings rooms, about 500 club-level seats and 2,000 end zone seats.
With 18 months to completion, construction will begin in February and is scheduled to be completed in July 2009. Total cost for the project is approximately $16.4 million.



The Lemoine Company has recently entered into a contract with LLOG Exploration Company to build its corporate headquarters and a health club along the Louisiana 21 corridor south of Covington.. The first building, a four-story, 100,000 square foot office building , will serve as the the new headquarters and a two story, 52,000 square foot Athletic Club which will include amenities such as outdoor swimming pools and a tennis court.




The Ascension Episcopal School will be a new multi-building campus located on Chemin Metairie Parkway in Youngsville, Louisiana. The campus will eventually include approximately nine (9) buildings including classrooms, administrative buildings, gymnasiums, athletic fields, and drives & parking. The Upper School will house the Ascension Episcopal High School classes. The building is an approximately 47,000 square foot, two story, structural steel building that will include classrooms, computer labs, library, and faculty work areas.

Best of 2007 Awards
A panel of contractors and designers met Thursday, September 6th, in Baton Rouge to select Louisiana’s Best of 2007 Awards, sponsored by South Central Construction magazine. The Lemoine Company entered the Reiger Production Facility, and it won Best Private Building.

Top 10 in Nation
Modern Healthcare magazine, a Crain Communication Publication, released the “Top General Contractors” rankings in its March 13, 2006 issue. The largest healthcare project completed by The Lemoine Company, LLC, as reported by the survey, is the Opelousas General Health Systems project in Opelousas, Louisiana.
