This state-of-the-art addition to Lafayette General Medical Center focused on the care of women and children in Lafayette and surrounding communities. Scope included demolition, site work, site utilities, paving, building structure, envelope, and interior build-out. The project included the addition of 24 postpartum rooms, 2 operating rooms, a nursery, administration, lobby, and related support areas. Subsequent phases included the renovation and reconstruction of 12 labor and delivery rooms, a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and support areas.
