This fast-tracked project included a 117,000 square foot building consisting of a steel frame with concrete decks. The press is located on the 2nd floor and supported by a structural concrete table that is approximately 6,500 square feet. The massive six-story tall MAN Roland Regioman offset press weighs in excess of 1 million pounds, and is one of twenty in the United States. The interior shop space also houses packaging equipment and other necessary printing operations for the newspaper and various publications. The exterior is a combination of 96 structural concrete tilt-up panels. The 9-acre site had approximately 180,000 square feet of paving.
