The Opelousas General Health Systems – Sunset MRI Project is a building addition to house new imaging equipment at a facility previously completed by Lemoine in 2005. The project consists of approximately 1,761 SF in a new addition and 145 SF in renovated space.
Work included self-performed shallow foundations and concrete slab on grade. The building is comprised of a steel structure and the exterior facade includes brick veneer and storefront to match the existing building. Interior work includes gypsum assemblies, acoustic ceilings, casework, flooring, painting, and related MEP systems. The project facilitates a new Hitachi Echelon Oval MRI with related systems.
