Delivered under the CMaR approach, Lake Charles Charter Academy included the construction of a new 2-story Classroom Building consisting of CIP Concrete Foundation (60,664 SF) with exterior Tilt-up Concrete Wall Panels, structural steel beams and columns, and a single ply membrane roof. In addition to typical classrooms for grades K through 8, the facility houses a full gymnasium, dining facilities, science labs, music/art rooms, and a library/multi-purpose area. The site, consisting of 7.4 Acres, also included improvements such as a student drop-off ramp, circle-pick-up concrete loop drive capable of holding 75 cars, a 45,000 SF parking lot, a playground area, and recreational field.
