Lafayette General Medical Center Tower Renovation Lafayette, Louisiana

Client Lafayette General Health
Size 160,000 SF
Recognition: ABC National Pyramid Award of Excellence, ENR Texas & Louisiana Best Projects

Originally built in 1963, and last updated in 1983, Lafayette General Medical Center’s Towers underwent a multi-phased renovation totaling over 160,000 SF. This multi-phased hospital renovation, expansion, and exterior upgrade consisted of six tediously engineered stages, while keeping the existing facility operational.

The phases: 1, 1A, 1B, 1C, 3rd/ 4th Floor Mechanical Rotunda, and 2 transformed the long-standing redbrick landmark to a 21st Century medical facility and exterior upgrades were only a taste of the interior’s metamorphosis.

Lemoine has completed multiple projects on Lafayette General Medical Center’s campus, including The Pavilion for Women and Children, Emergency Department and Surgery Expansion, Labor & Delivery Renovation and the Lafayette General Medical Center Chapel Renovation, among others.
