Located on the campus of McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana this campus housing project involved the construction of a 98,000 SF, 3-story residence hall.
The new Burton Hall was funded by FEMA following damage to the original dorm from Hurricane Rita. Project scope also included abatement and demolition of the existing hall and reconstruction of a new hall in the exact footprint. The new hall features 2 and 4 bedroom private suites with living area and kitchenette space in each unit. The 43-unit complex houses 152 beds.
