Angola Water Filter System Replacement

This work will involve replacing major components that make up the water treatment system for the entire Angola prison population, currently about 6,500 inmates. Scope includes replacement of eight pressure filters, the filter face piping systems, instrumentation and electrical systems. In addition, the project will remove and replace the supporting gravels and filter media in an additional four existing filters and replace the three existing raw water meter systems. Lemoine will self perform: demolition of existing filter equipment, concrete supports and filter piping, construct new concrete supports, re-built the existing backwash basin, install the new process equipment, erect all the piping systems, install temporary back wash water drains, and restore the filter gallery back to its original condition.
