Construction of a self-contained prison facility on a 200 acre site consisting of over 30 individual buildings with an aggregate building area of 325,000 sq. ft. The individual building elements included cell blocks, cafeterias, dormitories, administration facilities, infirmary, gymnasium, laundry building, warehouse, generator plant, mechanics shop, oxidation pond, and water tower. State of the art detention equipment and security control systems were required throughout the project. Interior finishes included glazed masonry units, exposed cast-in-place concrete and security glazing systems.

This project scope of work was almost identical to the Avoyelles Parish Prison Facility in that the scope involved construction of a stand alone self contained prison facility on a rural 250 acre site. This project also required the construction of more than 30 individual buildings with a total aggregate building area in excess of 340,000 sq. ft. The individual building elements included cell blocks, cafeterias, dormitories, administration facilities, infirmary, gymnasium, laundry building, warehouse, generator plant, mechanics shop, oxidation pond, and water tower. State of the art detention equipment and security control systems were required throughout the project.
